Terms of Service Agreement
Welcome to Karen Sampson Sewing. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Payment Terms
Deposit: A 50% deposit is required for any work totaling over $200. The remainder is payable upon completion.
Payments: Any work under $200 is due upon completion and pick up of work. Payment can be made via the invoice, cash, or Venmo (@karensampsonsewing).
Estimates and Cost Changes
Estimates: We strive to provide accurate estimates for each project. However, due to garment construction or fabric condition, the process may take longer than anticipated.
Cost Increases: If the cost is going to increase by more than 10%, we will contact you immediately to discuss the change and the reason for it.
Pickup and Inspection
Inspection: Upon pickup, the garment is to be inspected and tried on. You have one week to notify us of any problems with your garment. After that time, you will be charged for any changes that need to be made.
Uncollected Work: Any work not picked up and paid for within 60 days of completion without arrangements being made will be sold to recoup costs.
Order Changes and Image Use
Order Changes: All changes to the original order must be approved in writing.
Image Use: By agreeing to these terms, you allow Karen Sampson Sewing all rights and privileges to use images of your alterations for marketing and advertising. You have no ownership or right to privacy regarding the images, except that your face will not be included without your express consent.
Consultations and Fittings
Consultations: All alterations must include a consultation prior to any work being done.
Fittings and Measurements: All fittings and measurements must be completed by an employee of Karen Sampson Sewing. Any alteration work performed without a fitting and measurement completed by an employee is not guaranteed. Additional work required due to measurements provided by the customer will be billed accordingly.
Make It Right Guarantee
Guarantee: We offer a Make It Right Guarantee lasting for one week. This guarantee offers to fix any alteration that does not fit correctly or fails within the given time frame.
