When my oldest was an infant, my husband was running a police explorer program to introduce high school students to various careers in law enforcement. They had a competition every winter up in Gatlinburg, TN. I would go along to cook for everyone. The first year after my oldest was born, I made a mini police uniform for my son to wear when we went up for the competition.
It included a mini police badge, name tag, and shoulder patches.
